Install the Safari extension
Download CapturedIt Extension from the Mac App Store. The extension activates inside Safari — no separate app window needed.
Enable the extension in Safari
Open Safari → Settings → Extensions and turn on CapturedIt. Set Website Access to Allow (or all websites), then reload CapturedIt tabs so the extension can connect.
Connect your account
Click the CapturedIt icon in the Safari toolbar and tap "Connect." Wait until the page shows Extension detected, then Connect — you sign in once with no API keys to copy.
Start capturing
Click the toolbar icon to save the current page, highlight text for a selection capture, or use the context menu. Everything lands in your library with AI processing.
