Install the Safari extension

Download CapturedIt for Safari from the Mac App Store. The extension activates inside Safari — no separate app window needed.

Enable the extension in Safari

Open Safari → Settings → Extensions and turn on CapturedIt. Grant permission for the sites you want to capture from (or all websites).

Connect your account

Click the CapturedIt icon in the Safari toolbar and tap "Connect." You sign in once and the extension links to your library — no API keys to copy.

Start capturing

Click the toolbar icon to save the current page, highlight text for a selection capture, or use the context menu. Everything lands in your library with AI processing.
