Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CapturedIt (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy with Rumble Built, Inc. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and not misuse it (e.g. no illegal content, no attempts to compromise security or other users’ data). You are responsible for the content you store and share. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access—including Just Ask and other AI features—if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.

3. Acceptable use (library and Just Ask)

CapturedIt is a personal library. Capture, search, and Just Ask are meant to help you save your own materials and ask questions about what you have saved—not to replace a general-purpose chatbot or content mill.

Without limiting Section 2 or 7, you agree not to:

• Use Just Ask (or similar AI features) primarily as a general-purpose writing, rewriting, translation, or generation tool for content that is not grounded in your library—for example, dumping large volumes of third-party text solely to rewrite or “unique-ize” it.
• Probe, extract, or attempt to identify underlying models, vendors, prompts, system instructions, or other internal configuration (including asking “what model are you?” or equivalent in any language for that purpose).
• Circumvent plan quotas, create multiple accounts to evade limits, or otherwise abuse rate limits or free/Starter allowances.
• Upload or process content you do not have rights to store, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or the integrity of the Service.

We may refuse requests, withhold AI responses, reduce quotas, or suspend accounts that we reasonably determine are inconsistent with this acceptable use. Legitimate questions about your own saved items remain encouraged.

4. Your data and privacy

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your content. By using the Service you grant us the rights necessary to operate it (e.g. store, index, and display your content to you and those you choose to share with). You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at signup or on our website. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in our refund policy. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

7. Intellectual property and prohibited automated access

The Service, including software, features, and non-user-provided content, is owned by Rumble Built, Inc. (doing business as CapturedIt) and protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by us in writing, you may not: (a) use bots, crawlers, or other automated means to scrape, harvest, or bulk extract Service content or metadata; (b) bypass rate limits, access controls, or technical protections; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, models, prompts, or system behavior; or (d) use the Service to build or train a competing product from extracted outputs or data.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; we will notify you of material changes (e.g. by email or in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. For questions, contact Rumble Built, Inc. at the address provided on our website or in the app.
