Get started
Three steps — no install required
Create your CapturedIt account
Sign up with the email address you will send from — Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, or work mail all work. Only messages from your registered address are accepted.
Send to your capture address
Forward a newsletter, paste links in the body, attach a PDF, or share from mobile Mail. Use the address below — no extension or app install required.
Find it in your library
CapturedIt creates library items within about a minute. URLs become link captures with AI summaries; the email body becomes a searchable note; attachments stay with the item.
Capabilities
What you can send
Links in the body
Each URL becomes its own capture with title, summary, and smart categories.
Full email content
Forward threads or newsletters — the body is saved, searchable, and AI-processed.
Attachments
PDFs, images, and files up to 10 MB each are stored on the email item.
Automations
Zapier, Shortcuts, and mail filters can send to the same address — no API code required.
Workflows
Popular ways people use it
Newsletter triage
Forward interesting issues instead of letting them pile up in your inbox. Scan AI summaries in your library.
Mobile share sheet
When an app has no CapturedIt share target, use Share → Mail and send to your capture address.
Bulk imports
Attach a Pocket HTML export — each link imports as its own library item with AI processing.
For automation tips and Pocket imports, see the full email capture guide.
